【摘要】:Thistestmethodgivesanindicationoftheserviceabilityofshoeupperleatherinactualwear.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheeffectofperspirationonshoeupperleather.Theleatherissubjectedtotreatmentwithaformulationofartificialperspirationspecificforbreakdownofleather.ResistancetograincrackingasmeasuredinaccordancewithTestMethodD2210andarealossareusedasthecriterionofdeterioration.Theartificialperspirationmayalsoaffecttheflexibilityoftheleather.However,theseeffectshavenotbeenfullyevaluatedascriteriaofdeteriorationinthistestmethod.Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytowetblue.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
